Magnuss, born as john magnusson, started his musical journey at an early age. growing up on mallorca, spain, he began playing violin, guitar, trumpet and keys, laying a strong musical foundation from the age of 10. At just 13, a pivotal moment followed when he was introduced to igor (pig from pig&dan). under igor’s mentorship, Magnuss discovered his passion for dj’ing and began producing his own music. this collaboration and guidance have shaped his artistic direction ever since.

inspired by a weekend visit to amsterdam, Magnuss fell in love with the city’s open-minded culture and forward-thinking electronic music scene. soon after, he relocated to the Dutch capital to fully pursue his career. in amsterdam, he completed a production program at the abbey road institute, further refining his sound and vision.

today, Magnuss’ music bridges mediterranean warmth with amsterdam’s modern club energy. latin influences, melodic yet club-focused. alongside his studio work, he is the founder of lynn worldwide, an event series that has hosted editions in Amsterdam, puerto rico and a recently sold-out show in paris. as a dj, he has performed at venues such as tivolivredenburg, lofi, madam (a’dam tower), and multiple ade showcases.
